L-Threonine is white crystals or crystalline powder.It is odorless and has slightly sweet taste. It is easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform. L-Threonine is one of the essential amino acids, mainly used as pharmaceutical chemical reagent, nutrition enhancer, food fortifier, feed additive and so on. It is used to prevent the accumulation of fat in liver, promote the production of antibody, and strengthen the immune system. It is also the essential amino acid to assist protein absorption and utilization. It grows particularly rapid in the feed additive dosage. L-Threonine, added in the feed, can adjust the balance of amino acids in the feed, promote livestock growth, improve meet quality, and improve the feed nutritional value of amino acids with low digestibility.
