L - Proline is one of the important amino acids for the synthesis of proteins in human body, and also an important raw material for amino acid infusion. It is also the main intermediates for the synthesis of captopril, enalapril and other first-line antihypertensive drugs. It has been widely applied in food and medicine industry. It can be used as a nutritional supplement, food additive and flavor agent. When it is heated with sugar, special flavor substances can be generated through amino carbonyl reaction.
